We were referred here after moving from Houston while attending Texas A&M, and from the very beginning, we knew we had found a special place. Over the years, Peanut received all his routine care here—his checkups, nail trims, vaccines—as well as more serious procedures. Through it all, Dr. Walker, DVM consistently provided thoughtful guidance and made us feel confident and at ease with every decision regarding his health.

Even after graduating from Texas A&M and moving back to Houston, we continued making the trip to Bryan because we trusted no one else more with Peanut’s care.

What truly sets Dr. Walker, DVM and her team apart, though, is their compassion. When the time came for Peanut to be laid to rest, Dr. Walker, DVM went above and beyond in a way we will never forget. Although it was supposed to be a half day, she stayed with us until closing, giving us all the time we needed. Her entire team was patient, kind, and incredibly comforting during one of the hardest moments of our lives.

In Peanut’s final moments, Dr. Walker, DVM showed a level of empathy that meant everything to us. As she performed the final step, we saw her close her eyes, turn away, and cry. In that moment, it was clear that she cared deeply—not just as a veterinarian, but as someone who truly loved and respected the animals she treats. It brought us a sense of peace knowing that Peanut meant as much to her as he did to us.

For five years, Bryan Animal Clinic gave Peanut not just medical care, but a place that felt like home. We are forever grateful to Dr. Diana Walker, DVM and her team for their compassion, dedication, and love.

Her old age caught up to her and she unfortunately had to be put down, but Dr. Manning was by my side the entire way.”
