Payment Policy

To ensure that we can continue to offer our services effectively, we require payment for all services immediately upon completion of the appointment or procedure. In some cases, payment may be required prior to services performed in the form of a down payment or full payment.

We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and debit cards. We understand that unexpected veterinary expenses can arise. To assist our clients, we work with third-party lenders who offer financing options. For a brief overview of these financing options, click here.

Our goal is to focus on the well-being of your pets without any financial concerns lingering. By adhering to this policy and exploring the financing options available, we can maintain our commitment to providing exceptional veterinary care.

No-Show/Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur. To accommodate as many pets as possible and offer timely care to our clients, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you are absent from your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice or no notice, a $20 cancellation fee will be applied to your account. This will need to be paid before scheduling any other appointments.

Established clients who have two missed appointments (no call/no show or appointment canceled with less than 24 hours notice) will be required to pay a booking fee to secure their appointment for all future appointments. This policy ensures we can provide prompt care to all our clients and maintain our high standard of veterinary service.

Scheduling Policy

We understand your time is valuable, and you want the best for your pets. To help us maintain an efficient schedule and ensure that every patient receives the attention they deserve, we have implemented a $20 booking fee for all new clients. This nominal fee, which will be applied towards the cost of your visit, helps secure your appointment. It’s important to note that the booking fee will be forfeited if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice or in the case of a no-show. Our medical team will also need your pet’s records at least 24 hours in advance. If you have your pet’s medical records, please email them to [email protected]. Please be advised that not having the records in advance will increase your wait and appointment time, as the medical team will need to review them in their entirety.

VCPR Policy

By law, we must establish a veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR) to provide medical care for your pet. This is defined as our doctor physically examining your pet within the past 365 days. A VCPR is required to request refills of prescription medications and food, ask questions about health status or behavior, and request certain services such as telemedicine. We cannot provide these services if we do not have a legally valid VCPR. You are entitled to a complete and thorough copy of your pet’s medical records at any time, including transferring them to a third party for adoption of new pets, housing verification, or scheduling of boarding, daycare, training, or veterinary specialist appointments. Medical records will be transferred by your request on the next business day. Record transfers may only be made by the listed agent(s) on the account.
